I have used a wellness/motivational coach for the past 10 years.  I was diagnosed with MS.  My coach keeps me on a path of healthy choices and motivates me daily to research and follow through with flare-up symptoms.  My insurance pays for psychotherapy, but I get more out of my coach that helps me to come up with my own goals and health plan.
